Turkey Hunting
Turkey hunts in Texas is one of the most challenging species to hunt. Their keen eyesight and hearing, as well as their intelligence make them difficult to hunt. We have maintained our flock in Bandera for over twenty years and have a very limited availability. Milo supplemented feeders are strategically placed across the ranch specifically for our Turkey flock.
Our turkey hunts are a two day (one turkey) hunt, semi guided. We will have a guide to help direct and show the ranch but the rest (calling and hunting) is up to the hunter. Due to the seasonal restrictions in Texas on hunting turkey, this hunt is limited to Spring (late-March until the first weekend in May). A great deal of walking is usually required; you must be able to walk up and down steep grades. You will travel throughout the entire ranch in full camouflage, utilizing calls to bring the turkey in close. We do not provide guns, ammunition, hunting license, or camouflage clothing needed.
